ÖTILLÖ WORLD SERIES RÜGEN

The ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Series is a combination of coastal features, inland forests, and protected natural areas that makes it exciting for swimrunrunners, offering participants a chance to experience the island's diverse ecosystems while challenging themselves in a unique natural setting. The ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Series starts in Thiessow. Busses will bring you there.This course will challenge you more than you think.
 

ÖTILLÖ SPRINT RÜGEN

The Sprint course at ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Rügen is stunning. The start takes place against the picturesque backdrop of the Baltic seaside resort of Binz via the pier to the first swimming section. The route continues through the Granitz forest to Sellin, where further swimming sections await the athletes. On the way back, they pass the historic Granitz Jagdschloss (castle). After a final swim, the athletes make the last few metres over the pier to the finish line in Binz. An ÖTILLÖ Sprint race is the perfect swimrun race for those of you who feel that the World Series is too much or for those who want to go fast. Traditionally we have everything from very strong racers to absolute beginner Swimrunners doing the Sprint distances. Race in pairs or solo.

 
ÖTILLÖ EXPERIENCE RÜGEN

The Experience distance is easy and manageable for anyone wanting to try Swimrun. Many parents introduce their children to our sport by racing the Experience distance together. Come and enjoy the great atmosphere.The ÖTILLÖ Experience Rügen is a perfect sightseeing tour of the waterfront in Binz. Some very nice swims and easy runs that can be done by anyone. It is exactly what the name implies, a Swimrun experience for those completely new to the sport or for those not ready to compete over bigger distances. Race alone or come as a team and enjoy an ÖTILLÖ Swimrun experience in Rügen.

ENTRY PRE-REQUISITE

2.3.1 Each athlete needs to have a valid insurance for competing in Swimrun.
2.3.2 The application is final. No entry fee will be reimbursed by the Race Organisation.
2.3.3 It is allowed to change one team member and to change race category.
2.3.4 It is allowed to change race distance from World Series to Sprint or Experience, Sprint to Experience and from Team to Solo but no refund of entry fees will be made.
2.3.5 No external sale of the entry is allowed.
2.3.6 No entries can be deferred to another year.
2.3.7 No entries can be deferred to another race.
2.3.8 Each athlete must show proof of identification at the race registration.
 

ELIGIBILITY

To participate in any ÖTILLÖ event, athletes must be at least 18 years old on the day of the competition.

2.4.1 Participants under 18 years old are only permitted to compete if they present a signed "Under-18 Competition Certificate" from a legal guardian at registration.
2.4.2 Participants under 10 years old may only compete in a team with an adult partner, who is over 18 years of age and if they present a signed "Under-18 Competition Certificate" from a legal guardian at registration.
