World Virtual Run is presented by CEP and Virtual run - #weruntogetheralone

The World Virtual Run is an international virtual race taking place all over the world. It's kickstarted in Denmark, Germany, The Netherland, Sweden and the UK. 

The Virtual Run can take place anywhere; from your home, on your favourite trails or wherever you preferto run or walk. You can choose to run or walk your preferred distance:

DISTANCE:
5 km
10 km
Half marathon
Marathon

DATE:
The World Virtual Run will take place over the weekend of June 27th and 28th, you can decide when you want to run or walk. It can be Saturday at 6am or 11pm Sunday night - you decide! 

Afterwards, you can hang one of the world's largest and coolest medals around your neck and give a high-five to yourself or your loved ones. (Remembering to respect your authorities recommendations regarding Covid-19 )

The World Virtual Run is a "once in a lifetime" race where the whole world gathers together but alone and does what we love: Run or walk.

MEDAL:
The one-of-a-kind medal is a large one, measuring 10cm x 10cm. With 4 spinning discs you can amend the design to reflect your own personal achievement and celebrate the distance you have run or walked.

START NUMBER:
One week before race day, you will receive an email with your unique starting number and a link to the result list, where you can enter your result if you wish.

HASH TAGS:
Use #worldvirtualrun and #virtualrun on Social Media.

CERTIFICATE:
After the race you can print a unique World Virtual Run certificate.

Remember to abide by the covid-19 recommendations of the authorities at all times.

PRIZES:
There are lots of lottery prizes sponsored by CEP, Virtualrun.dk and KriXrun. All start numbers will enter the draw to be in with a chance of winning!

- Lottery prizes from CEP, all starting numbers on June 27 and 28 will be in the draw to win! Winners will be notified directly.
- You decide your route, distance, day and time. 
- Fellowship with the rest of the world when we walk or run alone. 

SHIPPING:
We can only send medals out in Denmark, Sweden, The Netherland, Germany and the UK. But we are looking for options to send all over the world.

Participation is at your own risk and the organiser cannot be held responsible for injuries, accidents etc.
Applicable traffic rules must be observed and we recommend that you comply with your country's recommendations regarding covid-19 at all times.
We will send out all medals on June 25 to the address you sign up with.

CANCELLATION AND FORCE MAJEURE
In the case of Force Majeure or the police / authorities advise against moving out, there is no possibility of reimbursement or compensation of the starting fee and costs associated with the event. However, we will move the World Virtual Run to a new date where we can comply with the authorities' recommendations. Should one country be prevented from participating, a new date for that country exists.

REASONS & CHANGES:
You can change your distance at any time under your profile at sportstiming.dk until 20 June.
Enrollment is binding and the money will not be refunded if you cancel your registration.
